Blackout...!!!

At the night of blackout, I was at Ala Moana Shopping Center with my friend. We were first at Karaoke in Waikiki, and then we went to Ala Moana Shopping Center to have dinner. When we got there, we were attracted by one of Japanese restaurants in Food Court, and we got a curry rice. After that, we looked for two seats to eat dinner, and when we finally found them and had the seats, the blackout happened... I couldn't see anything, but I just kept eating my food because I have experienced blackout before in Hawaii, so I didn't panic, and I also knew that power doesn't come back soon. However, because of the blackout, I couldn't shop anywhere, so I was sad a little.

I just wondered why retrieval from blackout takes so long in Hawaii because even if blackout happens in Japan, it doesn't take so long to retrieve from blackout. I think technique of electricity is necessary for us in the world because if we didn't use electricity in our life, we couldn't do anything like using electronic equipment, but if we develop our technique too much, we can't do anything by ourselves, and we will have to depend on equipment. In addition, too much development of technique will also means destroying the earth including our traditions or cultures. Therefore, we need to think more carefully about development of our life.

Cristmas Party with 2 of My Friends

Apporoximately 1 week ago, I had a Christmas Party in my place...☆

The party was not big but I enjoyed it. I and 2 of my friends first fixed the table and cooked some Japanese food which is called "Okonomi-yaki". Okonomi-yaki looks like vegetable pancake. When Japanese people cook it, they usually use some shred cabbage and some sliced pork, so it is very easy to cook!!

And we started chatting. I really had a good time...

My Important Events in This Year - part 1

First important event is that I went to the Mainland of the United States. It was the first time for me to visit there. I visited North Carolina that is located near New York. In North Carolina, there were a lot of green and some wild animal in residential area. When I saw some wild squirrels there, I was so touched by the sight!! Actually, I stayed there for more than 2 weeks. During I stayed there, I went to South Carolina that next to North Carolina. South Carolina was a little different from North Carolina, but South Carolina was so beautiful as well as North Carolina.

Robot Girl

In Canada, there was a man who had never had a girlfriend in his life because he didn't have enough time to find a girlfriend.

He completed a perfect girlfriend robot. Her name is Aiko, and she does housework for him.

He said"The robot reacts like a real woman and has all senses, except smell.

He covered the cost of $21,000 to make Aiko by selling his car and credit card.

In cooperation of sponsors, he is planing to improve software of Aiko to making her walk by spending a few years.

This news is very interesting for me because in future, men in the world wouldn't have to make a real girlfriens.

The Meaning of Gift...

I think we celebrate something for someone by giving a gift.

For example, when my friend's birthday is coming, I go to buy a present for him/her, choose something best for the friend, and give my friend it. It may be normal thing, but it would make my friend happy or delight. Therefore, I think gift is a feeling of someone who gives a gift to friend: accordingly, we don't have to buy expencive gift, we just give a gift that we can show our feeling of celebration.

My Hometown

I'm from Sapporo, Japan, so Sapporo is my hometown.

Sapporo is one of big cities in Japan.

Sapporo's climate is a little similar to Hawaii's climate in summer.

Now Sapporo is in winter, and it snows in Sapporo.

If you go to Sapporo in Februrary, you can go to Snow Festival !!!

This festival is very famous festival, so every year, many foreigners visit my hometown to go to the festival.

I have two dogs in Japan.

My Favorite Beaches in Hawaii

I often go to the beach in Hawaii, but actually, I cannot swim well...

I just like to go to the beach and see the beach ☆

The most beautiful beach I have ever seen in Hawaii is Lanikai Beach!!

It's so BEAUTYFUL !!!!
